Cricket can be a slow game. Low-risk hits, the odd wicket and a whole lot of standing around in the sun. The Big Bash is totally different.
Big Bash cricket is three hours of quick wickets, classic catches and hasty batsman smashing it for six. Each team bats 20 overs, attempting to get as many runs on the board as possible. It’s more than just cricket though. There’s fireworks, music performances, live entertainment and plenty of chances to meet the players.
Tickets start from just $5 for kids, $20 for adults and $42.50 for a family pass.
Nickelodeon is taking over the Big Bash this year. At select matches, kids can meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, take on the Crash the Bash Slip n’ Slide and plenty of other activities to keep them entertained between innings.
