QANTAS is set to launch new direct flights to Fiji, joining the competitive Sydney to Nadi route. The new service offers families a “premium travel option” to contrast its low-cost counter parts.
Jetstar, Virgin and Fiji Airways currently dominate this flight route from east coast.
The new direct flights to Fiji will run four times a week out of Sydney Kingsford Smith. The all-in fare includes checked baggage allowance inflight entertainment, food and drinks at no additional cost. Fares start at $269 one way (economy).
360,000 Aussies travel to Fiji every year. This number will continue to grow as more options open up for travellers.
Fiji took out two top spots in the 2018 Best of Family Travel Awards, highlighting the demand for more flight options from Australia. We hope to see increased accessibility to Fiji’s 332 other islands as well.
