Family-friendly activities to try in Bali

Done the beach? Been surfing? Want to venture away from the pool? Here are a few activities to try with the kids in Bali.

Bali Hai Reef Cruise

Families with young travellers will appreciate the numerous activities included in a Bali Hai Reef Cruise. From sliding down a 35-metre waterslide off the side of a purpose-built pontoon to skimming across the water on an inflatable banana, the Bali Hai cruise is for those who like a bit of action with their underwater views. You can find out more here

Waterbom Bali

Asia’s number one water park has more than a dozen water slides that are sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Little ones can play in the Fantastic water play park while big kids can scare themselves silly on the ‘Extreme’ level rides. You can also hone your surfing skills on the Flow Rider and have a water fight with the Water Blaster.

Dolphin tour

It’s well worth the pre-dawn start to arrive on Bali’s north coast and catch an outrigger canoe to the sea to encounter wild resident dolphins and observe their acrobatic antics. This wonderful experience includes a swim at Banjar hot springs, a visit to Gitgit Waterfall and lunch at a restaurant on the shores of Lake Beratan. Click here for more info.
