Roll up, roll up! Tag along for a family outing to Summerfest, an outdoor festival full of community spirit. Summerfest will unfold on Saturday 30th November at Brisbane’s Sunnybank Performing Arts Centre.
Totally free and perfect for summer, the annual event includes a family fun day, an outdoor concert and a fireworks display.
Festivities kick off at 10am with a series of live performances at the SunPAC Theatre and children’s entertainers, food trucks and face-painting outside. The lawns are perfect for relaxing and enjoying a picnic, so pack some snacks or purchase onsite. The Little Red Dumpling Festival will feature six scrumptious dumpling stalls, so bring your appetites!
The outdoor concert kicks off at 5pm. Expect appearances from family favourites Peter Combe, Jay Laga’aia and Stevie Nicholson and the SUPERDUDES. Finish off a rocking day with fireworks at 7.30pm.
Summerfest is on at Sunnybank Performing Arts Centre (SunPAC), 470 McCullough St, Sunnybank. Free parking is available on site. Sunnybank is a suburb of Brisbane, famous for its multitude of Asian restaurants. Stop by for a bite after you drop in to Summerfest.
